these dainty boxes remind me of little drawers and so to make them sound fun & fancy, i call them "les petits tiroirs" -- the little drawers in french.

i enjoy taking everyday objects like tin cans and clothespins and transforming them with paint, paper and glitter. i call these little makeovers my "tinkering" and the end result are treasures. i often do the painting in my basement which makes me feel like some little troll, toiling away underground.
