simple wooden clothespins have been tinkered into a sweet collection of decorative dolls.
each dolls has been lavished in fine clothing made of materials such as fabric, tulle, ribbon, paper and seam binding. dolls are adorned in necklaces or embellished with small gems. each dolls carries a treasure in her small, chenille stem arms.

10/09welcome to tinkered treasures
i enjoy taking everyday objects like tin cans and clothespins and transforming them with paint, paper and glitter. i call these little makeovers my "tinkering" and the end result are treasures. i often do the painting in my basement which makes me feel like some little troll, toiling away underground.
